Since we have been getting a ridiculous amount of spambots lately on this dead forum, I turned on the option where an admin has to approve each new account. It's not like we get real new accounts anymore anyways. I just want this place to rest in peace.

There are only two major requirements in order to become an affiliate of The Pixel Pagoda.

1. Your site must not contain any pornographic/hateful material. By hateful of course, I mean racial/religious/etc. Sites with stuff like "I hate Microsoft/Sony/Nokia" don't really bother us, and do not present with any problem with The Pixel Pagoda.

2. Your site will need to have a decent layout. It doesn't have to be a psychedelic Photoshop eyegasim, but it should look like you put some kind of aesthetic thought into it.

If you feel that your site/forum is up to these requirements and you would like to be an affiliate, post your request here.

Either click the chat button up there or point your client to #Freya on IRC.Esper.net. This chat is run by DB and Meeko. Punishment there does not necessarily transfer over to the forums and vice-versa.

Chat Rules: (Most rules aren't actually rules)

--13. Maths is forbidden and will get you kicked.
--14. Claiming to know what rule #3 is is a kickable offense.
--15. Speaking ANY LANGUAGE that you don't actually know how to speak is a kickbannable offense

As you can see it's kinda empty right now, but we're working on making this as lively a place as ever.

We're now running on MyBB, for added flexibility and new feature availability. Many of the new features will be implemented over the next few weeks.

Here is the definitive list of rules for all to see.
The other admins can add in others.

1. Do not spam too much outside of the everything else folder.

2. Don't advertise things that have nothing to do with webcomics. Advertise only in your signature, and keep it to a minimum.

3. Do not necropost without a good reason to do so. Pinned topics do not count.

4. No flaming in any way, shape, or form.If you have criticism, make it constructive. If you disagree with an opinion, you can state yours but be respectful of others.

5. Do not flame bait. (Unless it's to Volcof.)

6. Do not create multiple accounts to avoid a ban. If you've been banned, there's a reason.

7. Don't double post unless you think it's really necessary. If you have to quote more than one person in a thread, just use the big QUOTE button.
Of course, in certain circumstances, double posting is allowed, but try not to do it in general.

8. Defending Shadow Luiga is a bannable offense.

9. No Nudity. That should be common sense, but I guess not.

10. Don't piss off the admins. We can be awfully fickle when it comes to using the banhammer; one day we love you, the next, you're gone.

11. Don't fucking hack other people's accounts. Especially admins.

Breaking the above rules may result in administrative action ranging from a warning to a ban.
